St. John's 18+ Mixed Ultimate Frisbee League
We’re excited to release our plan for the MZU Olympics Event on June 1st! Join us from 2-5pm at the Team Gushue Sports Complex (Mount Pearl) for an afternoon of mini-games and challenges! Any player that is 18+ and that holds a valid UNL membership is welcome to participate. Friends and family are welcome to attend as spectators.
The event will be split into two parts: solo challenges and team games. The solo challenges include:
For each of these events, every player that chooses to play will receive a ballot that is entered into a random draw for a Quidi Vidi Prize Pack (non-alcoholic prize options will be available). The winner of each event will get one additional ballot.
The team games include:
Teams can consist of Summer League rosters, or can be formed on the fly at the event for players whose summer teams weren’t able to participate. Minimum of 6 players for team events (Minimum 2 female-matching and 2 male-matching players). For parity, teams of similar skill level will face off for each game, and the total points will be tallied. The team with the most points overall for each game will receive a Quidi Vidi Prize Pack.
There will also be other random prize draws throughout the day.
